ABOUT LLEWELYN DAVIES ARCHITECTS

The fundamental design principles of the modern hospital were invented and shaped by the founding partners, John Weeks and Lord Richard Llewelyn-Davies. Their pioneering work, supported by extensive research at the Nuffield, was extraordinary and remains as relevant to hospital design and town planning today as ever before.

The company has since undertaken projects in over 80 countries and today works in the UK, Middle East, North Africa, Asia and the Caribbean. In addition to the design of healthcare buildings, Llewelyn Davies has established an international reputation in aviation and in the UK is involved in a number of residentially led mixed use projects

In delivering a ‘mobile first’ web site we looked at how users were using the site and how LD wanted the site to add value to the business development process.

The website is used primarily as a research resource to help LD’s potential clients understand the strengths and experiences of the practice, and validate their integrity for tender invitations. Therefore user-friendly navigation and a minimalist approach were part of the design to improve the reading experience.

I have personally worked with LUV for over 20 years. The team has shown the highest level of creative clarity, passion and flair over a range of mediums. They have the ability to interpret a brief, to understand what clients are looking for and to inject their own innovative and strategic intellect into the final product, delivering outstanding results every time.
